Established Nikken Hokkaido Co., Ltd.

Established Nikken Diamond Lease Co., Ltd. under a joint venture agreement with Mitsubishi Corporation.
1975June
Established the Development Division to specialize in the development and manufacture of Nikken's own products.

Established Nikken Chugoku Co., Ltd.

1980Apr.
Nikken Industry Co., Ltd. changed its name to Nikken Corporation
Apr.
Established Hikoma Factory Co., Ltd. from the Development Division being independent to promote the full scale manufacture of Nikken's own products.
Dec
Established Nikken International Corp. in Chicago, USA.
1982Feb.
Nikken's Coffee Cup Backhoe won the Merit Award for Innovation at the 7th Invention Awards.
Oct.
Established Nikken Kinki Co., Ltd.
1983Feb.
Nikken's Type X Lift won the Design and Distinguished Service Award at the 8th Invention Award.
1984Aug.
Nikken's Dragonfly Lift (Tombo Lift) won the Merit Award at the 14th Machine Design Award.
1985July
Development of the next-generation Z-Lift aerial work platform was completed.
Oct.
Absorbed Nikken Kinki Co., Ltd., Nikken Chugoku Co., Ltd., and Nikken Kyushu Co., Ltd. through a merger.
1986Jan.
Nikken Tomei Co., Ltd. was merged and the Nikken Group was unified into a national organization.
1987Jan.
The headquarters was changed from Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, to Nagatacho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

All employees including the president adopted business names.
1989Nov.
Nikken International Corp. changed its name to Americ Corporation.

1990

1990July
Hikoma Factory Co., Ltd. changed its name to Japanic Co., Ltd. to promote the full scale sales of Nikken's products.
Nov.
Increased the capital to 1,215,000,000 yen (Mitsubishi Corporation: 20%, Ashikaga Bank Ltd.: 5%).
1991July
Established Thaitec Rental Co., Ltd. under a joint venture agreement with Mitsubishi Company (Thailand), Ltd. in Bangkok, Thailand.
1995Jan.
The Ashikaga office building was constructed.
1996Feb.
Absorbed Japanic Co., Ltd. through a merger.
May
The founder Taro Kame was passed away.
1997June
Established the Employee Stock Ownership Organization.

Increased the capital to 1,225,125,000 yen.

Adopted the executive officer system.

Sold equity interests in Thaitec rental.

NDT Co., Ltd. commenced operations, specializing in the disposal of rental assets, the buying and selling of used goods, brokerage, intermediation, and import/export.

NDT Co., Ltd. held the first "GUIA" online auction for used construction machinery.

Mitsubishi Corporation's equity stake in the company reached 97%.

Established Ashikaga Training Center as a 40th Anniversary Commemorative Project in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture.

Americ Corporation changed its name to Americ Machinery Corporation.
2014May
Established PT.Berlian Amal Perkasa, a construction machinery rental company in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Established NDT(Thailand)Co., Ltd. in Samutprakarn ,Thailand.

Established Seisan Gijutsu Partners Co., Ltd.
2015Oct.
Mitsubishi Corporation's equity stake in the company reached 100%.

Established Diamond Rental Myanmar Co.,Ltd, a construction machinery rental company in Yangon, Myanmar.

Published "Construction Machinery Rental Company Illustrated Guide" and "The Secrets of Working Machinery Rental" as part of the 50th-anniversary commemorative projects.

Established T.S.K Diamond Rental Co., Ltd, a crane rental company in Bangkok, Thailand.

Celebrating our 50th anniversary, we published a commemorative corporate history titled "NIKKEN SPIRIT: Challengers of the Future."
