Established Nikken Diamond Lease Co., Ltd. under a joint venture agreement with Mitsubishi Corporation.

Established the Development Division to specialize in the development and manufacture of Nikken's own products.

Established Nikken Chugoku Co., Ltd.

Nikken Industry Co., Ltd. changed its name to Nikken Rental Co., Ltd.
Apr.
Established Hikoma Factory Co., Ltd. from the Development Division being independent to promote the full scale manufacture of Nikken's own products

Established Nikken International Corp. in Chicago, USA.
1982Feb.
Nikken Coffee Cup Shaped Backhoe won the Encouragement Award, the 7th Invention Award.
Oct.
Established Nikken Kinki Co., Ltd.
1983Feb.
Nikken Type X Lift won the Design and Distinguished Service Award, the 8th Invention Award.
1984Aug.
Nikken Dragonfly Lift (Tombo Lift) won the Encouragement Award, the 14th Machine Design Award.
1985July
Z Lift, a new-generation high lift vehicle, was completed.
Oct.
Nikken Kinki Co., Ltd., Nikken Chugoku Co., Ltd. and Nikken Kyushu Co., Ltd. were merged and acquired.
1986Jan.
Nikken Tomei Co., Ltd. was merged and the Nikken Group was unified into a national organization.
1987Jan.
The headquarters location was changed from Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, to Nagatacho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

All employees including the president adopted business names.
1989July
Established the Management Division of Railroad Construction Machinery.
Nov.
Nikken International Corp. changed its name to Americ Corporation.

1990

1990July
Hikoma Factory Co., Ltd. changed its name to Japanic Co., Ltd. to promote the full scale sales of Nikken's own products.
Nov.
Increased the capital to 1,215,000,000 yen (Mitsubishi Corporation: 20%, Ashikaga Bank Ltd.: 5%).
1991July
Established Thaitec Rental Co., Ltd. under a joint venture agreement with Mitsubishi Company (Thailand), Ltd. in Bangkok, Thailand.
1995Jan.
Ashikaga headquarters building was newly constructed.
1996Feb.
Japanic Co., Ltd. was merged and acquired.
May
The founder Taro Kame was passed away suddenly.
1997June
Established the Employee Stock Ownership Organization.
July
Celebrated 30 years of business since its founding and published the 30-year history of the company.

Increased the capital to 1,225,125,000 yen.

2001Sep.
Adopted the executive officer system.
2002Dec
Sold equity interests of Thaitec rental.
2003Jan.
Established Compliance committee.
Sep.
Disposed the rental property of Nikken Rental. NDT Corporation Ltd. started business, mainly the sales, the intermediating and the import and export of secondhand products.
2006Mar.
NDT started the internet auction,「GUIA」 of secondhand construction equipments.
2007Aug.
Mitsubishi Corporation acquired additional 33% stock and became 97% large stockholder.
Oct.
Established Ashikaga Training Center as a 40th Anniversary Commemorative Project in Ashikaga city, Tochigi Prefecture.

Established Production Technology Center in Toyama City.
2012Apr.
Americ Corporation changed its name to Americ Machinery Corporation.
2014May
Established PT.Berlian Amal Perkasa, a construction machinery rental company in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Established NDT(Thailand)CO.,LTD in Samutprakarn ,Thailand.

Established Seisan Gijutsu Partners Co.,Ltd.
2015Oct.
Mitsubishi Corporation acquired all shares of our company.

Established Diamond Rental Myanmar Co.,Ltd, a construction machinery rental company in Yangon, Myanmar.

Acquired all shares of Hokushin Kizai Co.,Ltd.
